1941

Born in Copenhagen

 

1965

Establish workshop in Copenhagen with ceramist and sculptor Heidi Guthmann Birck.

 

1970

Move to Ålkær in Jutland. Work fulltime as ceramist with unique specimen sculptures and

site specific commissions.

 

1980

to 1985 Member of the exhibition group Multi Mud together with Karen Bennicke, 

Lene Regius, Heidi Guthmann Birck and Gunnar Palander.

 

1986

Move to Haderslev. Home, studio and showroom.

 

1987

to 1998  Associated the School of Arts and Crafts in Kolding as guest teacher. 

Since 1993 as tutor at the Institute of Unika.

 

1988

Artist in residence at the International Saltglaze Symposium. 

International Ceramic Studio, Kecskemet, Hungary.

 

1990

Establish a second workshop with a wood fired salt kiln in Halk.

 

1993

Member of the group founding Danmarks Keramikmuseum Grimmerhus in Middelfart.

 

1994

Curator for the exhibition ”Unikat Neue Keramik aus Dänemark” Keramion in Frechen,

Germany.

 

2001

Danish curator for the Ceramic Triennial in Karpfenberg, Austria.

 

2002

Artist in recidence at International Ceramic Studio, Kecskemet, Hungary.

 

2005

and 2008  Jury member for the International Triennial of Silicate Arts, International Ceramic
